All times local: 8 p.m. The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami says Joaquin continues to be a strong Category 4 hurricane as it moves northeastward toward Bermuda. The storm is now centered about 455 miles (730 kilometers) southwest of Bermuda, moving toward the northeast at 17 mph (28 kph).
